Brief Answer:
Please provide details

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

Yes there seems to be some fungal infection. It could be happening from unsafe drinking water being consumed by the baby or the mother. It could also be from some ingredients of baby formulas like DHA, ARA. Please be assured that it is harmless and it will disappear or reduce when cause is avoided. Medicine should not be used in such a young baby.

Take the following precautions:
- Drink cleaner water preferably from RO system
- Breast milk is best for baby and it should be continued. Instead of formula, prefer cow's milk if needed.
- Get the baby checked for iron and calcium deficiency when he is one year old
- You can apply diaper rash cream on the rash once a day for 3 days and it should help reduce it. If this doesnot help then 1% hydrocortisone cream can be applied on the rash twice a day for 3 days.

Regards,
Dr Vaishalee
