Question: I did cocaine a couple of weeks ago. I didn't do a lot. Maybe 5 lines all night. The next day I feel weird and anxious and rightly so. Anyway, I've been suffering from severe anxiety and panic attacks ever since. It's gone from thinking I'm choking to my throat is tight, lump in a throat, to my acid reflux is out of control, to really high blood pressure. Now I just feel nervous and like there is a lot in my stomach. Any uneasy thought will make me feel crazy nervous. I was battling with anxiety before I did the coke but not like this. Is this because of the coke? Did I do something? Or did the coke just exasperate something that I was already going through. Will this end? Its hard to function and I hate it. What can I do to make this better?

I can understand your problem. Cocaine is known to exaggerate the anxiety and can even result in precipitation of psychosis. But since you have history of anxiety before and you are just seeing increased anxiety in form of chocking sensation in throat, acid reflux, high blood pressure and panic so this is not a serious issue. This will go in some time.

If you have prescription of any anti anxiety drug like Clonazepam or Alprazolam then you can take this. The drug will help to calm you and will help in relaxing. You can use the medicine on sos basis for few days and you will be alright.

Please avoid overdoing.
