Hi,

COVID infection is not the only reason for loss of smell. You can have these symptoms with all other flu and viral infection. Besides, there can be other general and systemic conditions causing these symptoms.

At the outset, do not panic. Monitor your symptoms. Rest well. Take plenty of fluids. If your symptoms persist, consider visiting your physician to check for other causes.

Have you also done a RT PCR test for COVID? It is necessary if you have other symptoms of fever, cough, and nasal problems.
