Detailed Answer:
Hi...
Welcome to "Ask a Doctor"service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX
I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.
As per CDC guidelines (Centre for Disease control) there are three classical symptoms of coronavirus infection ....
Shortness of breath,
Dry cough
and high grade fever.
Now, six new additions have been made to this list, which includes....
Chills,
Repeated shaking with chills,
Muscle pain,
Headache,
Sore throat,
New loss of taste or smell.
As you had an abrupt onset of symptoms (and not insidious),have cough with phlegm (and no dry cough) ,it seems more of upper respiratory tract infection and not a COVID 19.
Kindly share if you had any travel or contact history of COVID 19 and do you have any comorbidities like hypertension, heart disease and diabetes.
This would help me to evaluate you further.
Hope that I have answered your query.
Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards.
