Question: I feel dizzy when I lie down on my right side (but not on the left). When I sit up, it goes away. I don’t feel any dizziness when I lie down on my stomach. My blood pressure is normal. I have diabetes and take metformin hcl, amlodipine-atorvast, benazepril, Bydureon (shot in stomach once per week), two baby aspirin each day

Brief Answer:
Most likely BPPV. Read below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service.

I have read your query.

Dizziness triggered by a specific body (head and neck mostly) position, in most of the cases indicates a benign inner ear dysfunctional condition such as BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo).

Avoiding the triggering position and Epley maneuver ( reposition of the otoliths ) should improve your symptoms.

Discuss with your Doctor for these issues.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
