I Feel Like My Eyes Are Very Noticeably Sunken (sunken
Question: I feel like my eyes are very noticeably sunken (sunken eyes? - I don't know the term). It was worse about 9 months back when I had an allergy attack and eye dryness (attached image 0.jpg is the old one and 1.jpg is the recent) . But I think still it is sunken and I am not sure if I feel this only because I am focusing there too much. How can I make my eyes look normal and not visibly tired? I have not uploaded the entire photo because it is online. If entire photo is required please let me know. I am in front of my laptop more than 14 hours a day and i used to drink daily until about a year back.
Brief Answer:
Improper sleep or allergic rhinitis can be a reason.

Hi Sir
Thank you for asking Ask a doctor 24/7
I have gone through your query and pictures with diligence. Sunken eyes can be as a result of sleeplessness, allergic rhinitis ,dehydration, sinus infections or weight loss. Sun exposure can worsen this.
Get enough sleep of 8 hours per day. Be sure you are adequately hydrated. Make sure your urine is not getting dark. Treat allergic rhinitis with steroid sprays after consulting ENT specialist.
You can apply aloe vera gel locally. Applying sunscreen before going into sun is also recommended.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
