I Felt Like I Was Urinating A Lot More So

default
Posted on Sun, 21 Oct 2018
Question: I felt like I was urinating a lot more so I went to the doctor. He took a urine analysis and tested it under a microscope. came back negative for blood and infection. However, three weeks later I urinated and when I wiped I saw specks of blood on the toilet paper. I wiped again and saw a little more. Third wipe I saw none. Urine appeared clear in bow. Should I immediately concerned since I just had it checked with my doctor. I am still urinating frequently. Had A1C checked as well. It was okay.

Brief Answer:
It sounds perfectly benign

Detailed Answer:
Hi Nylusar,

What you describe sounds like a superficial cut/wound in your vaginal area has caused the small amount of blood on the toilet paper. You should not be concerned. If you are currently having your period, this is the likely explanation to the blood. If not, I suggest you give it a week or so; if there is no more blood on the toilet paper, fine. If there is, I suggest you see your doctor for a pelvic examination, just to be sure.

Hope this helps.
