Brief Answer:
Reye is very rare but serious condition.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

You should never give aspirin to children or teenagers if they are having flu symptoms because of Reye syndrome.
If a child is under 18 he should not take aspirin.
Reye syndrome is also very rare and don't happen to any child taking aspirin.
The onset of Reye symptoms start 3 to 4 days after flu symptoms start.
If your child experiences symptoms of vomiting, lethargy, weaknesses, numbness and difficulty in controlling the limbs you should go to hospital.
If your daughter is getting better and none of the symptoms I mentioned happen to her then you should not worry about it.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
