Question: I get really bad pain after masturbation, like ready to puke or pass out, and lasts usually around 5-10 minutes or 30 minutes at its worst. but only when I’m within a week of my period starting. At any other time of of the month there isn’t any pain. This has gotten worse over the Years, Is there a reason or a potential fix?

Hi, pain is in the lower abdomen, it it feels like a fierce ache or Inward pressure, can last for varying amounts of time.My periods come regularly but they are usually pretty heavy for the first two days, then there’s a gap day then it bleeds for one or two days more at a slower pace. My period is usually painful for the first day, cramps mostly but only for the first day, normal otherwise. No urination or pressure on bowels as far as I can tell. I haven’t been to a gyno yet. The day I get my period if I masturbate there isn’t any pain so it only happens the week to the day before.

Brief Answer:
Natural congestion in the week prior to periods.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your detailed and helpful feedback.
During the week to the day before the uterus and the pelvic contents get congested as a natural phenomenon During this period of menstrual cycle. Hence any activity that cause the contractions as occurs during masturbation cause the pain.
Once the period starts the congestion is gone and hence no pain on day of menstruation; and other days as there is no congestion at all.
I hope this answers your query.
Yet, it would be better to get pelvic Ultrasound during the last week of cycle (when there is pain after masturbation).
