Brief Answer:
you need to take a course of oral antibiotics, and apply topical antifungal

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have read your query and understand your health concern.

In my opinion, you might have bacterial infection of your left ear piercing. You need to take a course of oral antibiotics like amoxicillin with clavulanate twice daily after food for 3 days at least. Along with it, applying topical antifungal cream like clotrimazole will help in relieving the itching and warmth sensation. Clean the local area with lukewarm water before applying the cream. You should get better in a week's time.

Do let me know if you have further queries.

Brief Answer:
Please remove the piercing for now

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Please remove the piercing for now. Do not keep it there for about a week at least. The white pus, itching, and burning sensation are all symptoms of bacterial infection. Please take the antibiotic as suggested earlier. And, apply the ointment twice daily after washing the area with lukewarm water. Make sure the ointment stays in the area always (24 hours). Apply it even before going to bed.

The antibiotic is a prescription drug. Please get it prescribed by your local physician.

You will be fine a week's time. Do not worry.

Let me know if you have more concerns.

Dr Shanthi E

Brief Answer:
Please take a 10days course of multivitamin supplement

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

In my opinion, it seems like you have aphthous ulcer on your tongue. Nothing to worry. I suggest you to take a 10days course of multivitamin supplement like capsule becosules - z or tablet zincovit twice daily after food. Both are over the counter medications. You do not need a doctor's prescription for the same. Please get it from a local pharmacy.

Consume citrus fruits like orange and sweet lime. You will be fine soon.

Take care.

Dr Shanthi E
