Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your LDL is still less than 190. You can try low fat diet and regular exercise for atleast 3 months and recheck lipid profile. Fat foods that need to be avoided include cakes, cookies, pastries, sweets, milk shakes, ice creams, etc that have milk products. If it lowers then you can continue dietary changes. Otherwise medicine maybe started if needed. Currently I donot see a need for lipid lowering medicine.

Regarding thyroid profile I need to see your report. Also let me know your age and gender, your symptoms, any medicine use etc

Regards
Dr Vaishalee

Detailed Answer:
Hi again
Thankns for reverting back with details and report.

As per the report and your description, you have developed subclinical hypothyroidism. Currently you donot thyroid supplements for it. You need to keep repeating thyroid profile every 3 months to check if it is progressing or going down. Meanwhile continue iodinated salt in food ad clean drinking water.

Hope this helps.
