I Got Test Done Recently And The Results Are Normal Now

Question: Should I continue the same dosage or reduce it?
I am on Thyronorm 75 for the last three years.
I had an episode of Thyroiditis (Hashimoto Thyroiditis) in Dec 2018 where my TSH levels dropped to zero, remained like that for about one month and then became very high.
I started Thyronorm 75 based on a consultation with an endocrinologist after TSH levels became high.
The TSH and T3, T4 levels became normal after few months.
I got test done recently and the results are normal now. I want to check if i could reduce the dosage of Thyronorm.

Brief Answer:
The dosage of Thyronorm is Ok.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I have gone through your query and your attached reports.
Your thyroid panel is within the range.TSH level show that you shoul not reduce the Thyronorm dosage.
My adices for you:
1. Start a low-fat diet and exercise every day ,to normalise your triglyceride level.
2.Take a Vit D supplement(1000- 2000UI)/day and repeat the Vit D test and TSH test after four weeks.
Let me know the result and i will be happy to guide you further.
Hope this is helpful.
Wish you good health.

Thanks for the response, doctor.
I had an ACL reconstruction surgery about six weeks ago.
I had got the injury while playing Volleyball about 3.5 months ago, and have not been physically active since then.
Could you recommend some exercises that i could do with the left leg still recovering from the surgery?

Brief Answer:
There are specific post-op ACL exercises programs.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
As endocrinologist i can say that exercises are an important part of your recovery, in addition to a physical therapy program.
Your physical therapy program should be mild and should not cause increased pain.
You can start "First level" exercises a couple of weeks after surgery.
The goal of these exercises is to regain neuromuscular control of the quadriceps, strengthen the hip and maintain knee and ankle range of motion on the left leg.
It it recommended to perform these specific exercises 1-3 times per day, only within pain-free range of motion.
My advice is to consult your orthopedic doctor for your specific home exercise program.
Only your orthopedist can give you the right instructions.
P.S :A low fat healthy diet is enough to normalise your level of triglycerides even with your physical inactivity.Don't worry!
Hope i have answered to your question.
Wish you all the best.
