I Had A Bad Sinus Infection Book Took Antibiotics For

Question: I had a bad sinus infection book took antibiotics for a week. About the time they ended, my symptoms began to diminish but I began experience pressure in my chest and a grunting noise when I exhale. It feels almost like there is something blocking my breath when I breath out so I have to clear my throat a bit and it comes out as a grunt. I've had a couple occasions of shortness of breath, but not consistently. They mostly happen when I'm talking for long periods of time, not when I'm physically active. Could my my sinus infection have gone into my chest or could this be the beginning of asthma?

I forgot to mention I've always been having pain in my left side. I have IBS with constipation and I think I may be having a bad bout of that. Could this contribute to my shortness of breath when talking?
