Question: I had a blunt trauma to my eye. They said i had traumatic mydrasis which would not improve and before my pupil did not constrict at all. Now i have noticed that it is reacting slightly to light 2 weeks later. is that hope that it may recover yet?

The diagnosis is usually just traumatic mydriasis only .

Hey thanks for the question . We dont use the term transient and permanent in such cases dear but we can call it a recovering traumatic mydriasis . Hope it helps
