Question: I had a condom break while with a Cambodian prostitute. There was anywhere between 1 and 5 minutes before I realised. I then put on a new condom. I also received unprotected oral sex from the same woman. I am sick with worry I will get something. What are my chances? I tested for gonorea and chlamydia after 36 hours and was clean. The woman I slept with said she was tested 4 months ago and has no symptoms of any sti%E2%80%99s.

i am now experiencing pain in the testicles and for the last few days have felt pressure around my lower abdomen/bladder? no burning when i pee. no discharge. no physical signs.

i am severe anxiety and fear this may be manifesting as pain but i am not sure.

im still in cambodia and will be until friday.
what do i do?

Please help me.

Brief Answer:
Possible Genitourinary tract infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir

I can certainly understand your concern.

As described above, the the possibility of a genitourinary tract infection is very high in your case.

This requires immediate antibiotic therapy to eliminate the infection after sending blood and urine for serology and culture/sensitivity.

Additionally you require screening for viral STIs like Hepatitis B and C plus HIV 1and 2.

Review with reports to determine further course of action.

Post your further questions if any.
Thank you

Brief Answer:
Relevant tests provided

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir

I can certainly understand your concern.

Antibiotics like Norfloxacin 400 or Cefpodoxime 200 will be effective if taken for a week.

Screening tests should include tests like HIV 1 and 2 antibodies, P24 antigen assay, HbsAg and HCV ANTIBODIES.

Please check with your physician, if he/she shares my opinion and if can prescribe these medications and tests to you.

Further management is largely based on test results.

As of now, don't be worried. Consider antibiotic therapy at the earliest.

Post your further questions if any.
