Question: I had a fracture in my upper back which they cemented together. When I got home Ihad pain in my ribs on both sides, then it moved to the right side of my lower back & stayed there. Nothing seems to help it stop hurting . I have been taking 3 Advil every 6 hours & putting ice on it,but it still hurts.

Brief Answer:
Do a xray to check the conditions of bones.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I think you may need more time to get healed. Possibly the haematoma and injury was larger in the right side and it needs more time to be absorbed and get healed. It should get to normal within 4-6 weeks.
If the pain still persists you may need to do a x-ray to see the conditions of the bones there and if it presses any spinal nerves and causes those symptoms.
Corticosteroid injections may be an option to relieve pain.

Hope I have answered the question.
