Brief Answer:
A brain scan + Observation...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

From what you describe, you have headache from last night. As you woke up you noticed swollen left leg (foot) while the right eye feels 'fuzzy'. This set of symptoms are not consistent with any known medical conditions that I am aware of. Most probably they are unrelated.

Your BP is currently on the higher side. If repeat BP still shows elevated numbers I will recommend you visit a doctor to start medications for high BP.

In the meanwhile continue pain medications for today. If headache as well as rest of symptoms persists, you need to report back to the doctor. A CT scan and a few blood tests are needed.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards

Brief Answer:
Tests necessary to isolate the cause..

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand you are worried about the set of symptoms that you had. But as indicated in my earlier reply, the symptoms are not very specific. Without necessary tests, I will not be able to pinpoint to an organic medical condition and neither am I able to give you definite explanation. Possibilities for the swelling including liver and renal function derangement or vascular changes involving the affected limb.

If the swelling is persisting, you should consider visiting a doctor for necessary test. If I were to be your treating doctor, I would immediately order for a complete blood count, a renal function and kidney function test. A doppler scan may or may not be necessary based on results of the former tests.

Further more, since blood pressure is higher than recommend numbers despite using spironolactone + hydrochlorothiazine, you need dose alternations.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards
