I Had A Pap Test Back In March And It
Question: I had a pap test back in march and it was the day after my period finished. My results were all normal but now I am having bleeding in between my period and im afraid that my period may have messed with the results
Brief Answer:
The best time is five days after periods.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
The ideal time to schedule your Pap test is at least 5 days after the end of your menstrual period. A Pap test can be done during your menstrual period, but it is better to schedule the test at another time.
However, considering your age, an abnormal result is unlikely and you can repeat the test for reassurance.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks
