I Had A Root Canal Done For My Grinder Tooth
Question: I had a root canal done for my grinder tooth 4 months back. Every thing was going well till 15 days back the tooth started paining. My dentist took an xray and said that nothing wrong mayy be due to trauma. She gave me Hifenac P for 3 days. But the pain remained even after 3 days. Only respite being the time the effect of the medicine lasted. So, I went back and this time on 10th sep she retreated the canal and gave me anti biotics for 5 days. Today is the 5th dat but my tooth still pains if i dont take hifenac P. I am getting worried . How long does it take for the pain to go ? How long can i continue taking the painkiller. I have to travel abroad from 19th onwards which is not even a week away.

Along with pain is there any swelling also present?
Please write back..
