I Had A Slightly Loose Callous On The Side Of

default

Question: I had a slightly loose callous on the side of my big toe. I removed it with a nail clipper. It looks like I have a slight whole into the skin now (though it's not red). My toe hurts when I walk. It's not terrible pain (maybe a 3 or 4 out 10). Will this heal on its own? How long do you think it will take? Is there anything I need to do? Note that I wasn't sure which specialty to select.

Brief Answer:
Inflammation and possible infection

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,
I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but the pain is probably due to the inflammatory process of this area.

However, I would like to look further into this. So please upload/send a photo attached as a report in the same query as a follow-up for me to inspect and rule out infection of the wound.

Kind regards...
