I Had A Wisdom Too Come In 5 Days Ago.since

Question: I had a wisdom too come in 5 days ago.since then I’ve been unable to swallow food and struggle to drink water. When I drink water thick mucus crawls up my throat. I just almost choked on a small piece of jello. What is happening to me.

Is my wisdom tooth infected? I’ve also been trying to fight off a candida outbreak. I was getting multiple urinary tract infections and I started to notice a white film on my tongue. Despite the fact I brush everyday. Two days ago I noticed that my tongue is white again. I’ve brushed, gargled with salt water and used my tongue scraper. It’s still there along with dry mouth and a strange bitter taste.

I meant that the tooth started breaking through the gum.On the first day I only felt slight discomfort. Later that night the tooth started to throb. I gargled with warm salt water and the pain lessened enough for me to go to sleep. The next morning when I went to drink a glass of Water. It felt like it had stalled in my throat. I swallowed a few times and it cleared. I tried to eat breakfast and again the scrambled eggs lodged in my throat. I felt like I was choking but managed to spit up the eggs. It’s been downhill ever since. I haven’t been able to eat any food and drinking water is extremely difficult. There’s a bitter metallic taste in my mouth now and my tongue is white. When I attempt to drink fluids my throat fills with mucus. It’s hard to get it out. I haven’t had anything but small sips of water for four days now.

I haven’t had the wisdom tooth pulled yet. I recently lost my medical Insurance. Covid-19 has has also put incredible strain on the doctors in my area.

Hello,
Thank you again for your question. Oral candida can cause you difficulty swallowing, altered taste also. You can use nystatin gargle to treat oral candida. The nystatin gargle needs to swish in the mouth and retain for as long as possible(several minutes) before swallowing. About your teeth bread you should see a dentist. If you still find it difficult to swallow after one month you should see a doctor. They might do upper gastroscopy to find out if there is any obstruction in your GI system.
Wish you have good health. Let me know if I can assist you further.
