Question: I had alopecia and in the spot that grew back, the hair has turned black in the shape of a ring.

Alopecia aerata affects only black hair while grey hair are spared.
The disease would have caused loss of black hair which are now in regrowth phase.
Just relax over a period of time the color will match with surrounding.
