Brief Answer:
muscle, soft tissue, nerve, blood supply or bone related issue.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services.
I have read your query and here is my advise.

* As per my clinical experience, the thigh pain involving outside part can be due to
various reasons as muscle, ligament stretch, bone-related issue, nerve compression or
blood supply related issue, soft tissue lesions or else.

Kindly provide me further details so that I can answer your query completely.

1. Is the pain localized to a particular region or diffuse involving whole left thigh outside?
2. Noticeable skin changes in terms of redness, warmth or else?
3. Pain - radiation if anywhere?
4. Associated difficulty in walking, changes in sensation of part or distal area, fever or
else?
5. Currently consuming blood thinner like warfarin or else?
6. History of diabetes, high BP or other systemic disorder?
7. History of recent fall or trauma if any?

Awaiting your response.

Meanwhile, the intake of paracetamol ( 650 mg ) after meals will relieve intense pain to some extent for sure.

Regards.
