Question: I had bariatric surgery a week ago and I’m getting perodic hot flashes now. I’m 61 and have been over them for years. Is this typical?

After bariatric surgery patient is given antibiotics anti inflammatory and wound healers.These antibiotics or other medications may cause hot flashes.
Suggestion-
Wait for a minimum of 2 weeks post medicine therapy and most likely they would go away.
