I Had Hylaronaise Injected Into A Filler Area In My
Question: I had hylaronaise injected into a filler area in my face on the right, a triangle area from below eye trough down to nostril . for some reason my body doesn't break down the stuff well she had to inject a lot into the site and it seems tobe doing the job although I may need a bit more. But I woke up this morning with my under completely swollen nearly like the filler had moved into the area. I had a little of the dissolver put under the eye but had this done before with no reaction? why is this all swollen? my whole right hand side is swollen I have attached picture
Brief Answer:
Regarding swelling on face
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have reviewed your query and noted your concern.
I think the swelling is just because she injected a lot rather than due to any reaction. I suggest you to apply ice wrapped in a towel. You may also take an oral antihistamine e.g cetirizine 10mg though it is not really required because I don't consider that this is due to some allergy or reaction. It is just because of fluid accumulation and it is more obvious in the morning because you lay supine the while night. I think this is is going to subside as the day proceeds.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
