Brief Answer:
Can again be due to osteoarthritic changes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.

After a stem cell treatment for a torn meniscus, the knee usually heals well. The feeling of instability while climbing stairs can be related to osteoarthritic changes in the knee joint or due to mild inflammatory changes. You should get the area examined by an Orthopedician and get an MRI scan done to find out the exact cause.

I hope this answers your query.
