Question: I had prostate cancer 4 years ago was treated with high dose radiation and PSA is under 0.1. Does the treatment I had effect my ability to reach orgasm. Trying to determine if physical or phycological. I am 76 years old, married over 50 years with a satisfying sex life about every 1 week to 10 days. I use viagra to achieve erection that is satisfactory for penetration. I also occasionally will use a penis pump. My lack of orgasm effect both of us, her feelings of not being able to satisfy me and me constantly trying and both wearing us out.

Based on the facts that you have posted you seem to have cancer of prostate being treated with radiation therapy and now facing problem of Anorgasmia (Not able to achieve Orgasm ) during sex .

I shall be happy if you can post me more details to help me in making precise comments
1) Do you ejaculate or not (Whether you ejaculate but do not get Orgasm)?

Anorgasmia is mainly due to following few factors
1)Age related -Due to reduced secretions of Semen components by Seminal Vesicle ,Prostate and Testicles.
2) Radiation Prostatitis
3) Psychological in nature

The lack of an orgasm started about 4 years ago around the time of prostate cancer diagnoses and treatment. I do experience a orgasm approximately every 12th sexual experience. There doesn’t appear to be any ejaculation fluid and usually experience a slight burning sensation. Never had testosterone level checked? No fluid is excreted during sexual intercourse, my wife does use a lubricating gel

Brief Answer:
Anorgasmia you have is due to absence of production of Semen

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up and update .

Radiation for Prostate Cancer that you had has caused Radiation Prostatitis and Seminal Vesiculitis resulting into almost complete stoppage of Semen which is already jeopardized in advancing age .

During normal sexual intercourse It is the expulsion of semen that causes stimulation and projectile contraction of Bulbo Spongiosus muscle that gives pleasurable sensation of Orgasm hence absence of semen is the cause of your Anorgasmia .Unfortunately there is no medicine that can regain this function.

Thanks and Regards.
