I Had Two External Genital Warts Removed A Little Over

Brief Answer:
Regarding warts
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and noted your concern.
Unlikely that they would return after a long gap of 10 years but it is possible. I request you to kindly upload a few clear images of the affected area in "Reports Section" so that I am able to have a look and guide you accordingly.
Hope to assist you further. Take care.

Thank you for the response. I would rather not upload a picture but will seek a visit with a dermatologist.
I have read a lot of information online and understand that external genital warts will "clear" on their own within 2 years, but the virus may remain in the body. Does this mean if I do not get the wart/lesion removed it will just go away or the wart needs to be removed by a provider in order to go away?
Thanks!
