Question: I have a 1 centimeter complex cyst on my right ovary with some stomach discomfort. What are the chances it could be late stage cancer? I'm also showing signs of thickening of the uterus.

Brief Answer:
No chance.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for query,
Have seen your details,

Usually a 3D transvaginal ultrasound with Doppler imaging and not just plain ultrasound is done to rule out if cyst is benign or malignant.
Any cyst could be benign or malignant in nature irrespective of it's size. No doctor can make a guess without doing tests like MRI scan or 3D Doppler Ultrasound.
If any one is making guesses he/she is just bluffing.
You have to go through a CT /MRI (much sensitive then ultrasound) to make it clear if it's just a plane cyst or is malignant.
I don't think right now it's end stage of cancer as patient in last stage presents with severe muscle wasting catchexia severe pain(controlled by morphine) etc......
Just ask your doctor to go for these tests and get your pap smear done.
It's not End stage but if it's malignant or simple cyst could be cleared only after proper investigations.
Follow up are welcome.
Thank you.
