I Have A Colonoscopy Sceduled In A Couple Of Weeks.
Question: I have a Colonoscopy sceduled in a couple of weeks. The Doctor uses Propofol for Anesthisia. I am nervous about having Anesthisia, but I diditwithout 5 years ago, and it was to painful. I am on Dilanntin for a seizure disorder, although I haven%E2%80%99 had aseizure since I was 18, and am now 63. I am also on Astovistatin for Cholesterol and Metoprolol for Blood Pressure. I also have a slightly leaky valvewhich was seen on Eckocardiagram The Doctor said it was nothing to be concerned about, and needed no treatment. I had done a while back for PVC%E2%80%99s that I sometimes get although not often. The Echo Cardiagram was fine other than the slightly leaky valve which he said some people do have. Would the Propofol still be safe to use?
