Brief Answer:
It's better to have Biopsy
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Mammogram will give a Clue regarding Lump in the Breast.
It is not the Final and Conclusive investigation.
Mammogram will Grade the Lump based on it's image.
But,the Exact Diagnosis will be known by Histopathological examination (Biopsy) only.
Some swellings are firm to hard, but can come a Benign. Some swellings may be small.,but can be reported as Malignant (Cancer).
Please come back after Biopsy Report.I will clarify further.
Nothing to worry.
We do Biopsy routinely for a Breast lump.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions,I will clarify further.
Wish you good health
Regards
