I Have A Bite That Has Blistered, Burst And Looks

Question: I have a bite that has blistered, burst and looks raw about the size of a 5p coin. Does it need treatment?
Brief Answer:
no specific treatment required at this point
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
I've checked the picture, this looks like granulation tissue after the bite and it will heal spontaneously in 2-3 weeks.
In some cases it may persist as chronic granuloma and then it may require surgical excision, but at this point you should just wait and keep the area clean and avoid scratching.
If available you may use Biatain silicone gel to facilitate healing or Aquacell patches, but even standard antiseptic may replace it.
If any redness or pus secretion occurs then it may suggest secondary infection and you ll need angtibiotics in this case but at this point, this is not necessary.
Wish you good health.
