I Have A Consistent Burning Feeling In My Neck, Mostly
Question: I have a consistent burning feeling in my neck, mostly left side. This sometimes is felt in my upper chest as well. I had some chest pain a few months ago; I contributed this to stress due to my mother's severe health issues. Now I'm wondering why this neck/chest pressure persists. It's not a sharp pain, but a burning sensation and pressure. I've tried antacids; I don't this this is just acid reflux. I work out 5x a week and so I think I'm in excellent physical shape for a woman of 60. 115lbs. No health issues whatsoever in the past other than Gestational Diabetes in my 1st pregnancy. Blood pressure was been a bit higher than normal at my annual check up. But otherwise good blood test results.
The test I had in January with an Internal med doc maybe wasn't a cat scan. In her office; hooked up with nodes on my body in various places and then evaluated. Had to do with my heart, I think. I'm not sure I've named that test correctly.

Meanwhile, I suggest to use antacids such as Maalox three times a day.
