Question: I have a friend with multiple sclerosis. She has lost mobility in her legs and her neurologist is referring her to another specialist because they say there's nothing they can do to restore mobility. I want to help by giving her a massage chair. Do you think that would help her at all?

Brief Answer:
may help in easing few symptoms but doesn't cure the disease.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

Multiple sclerosis is a progressive neurological disorder and focus should be on to relieve/reduce symptoms.

So Massage therapy/Massage chair may helpful in easing some symptoms but it doesn't cure the disease.

It may help to improve circulation and relax tense muscles. As per some studies, it may help to reduce pain also.

So before that I would suggest you to consult with Neurophysician and continue after his recommendation only.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
