Brief Answer:
lymph node enlargement or hematoma possible after shoulder surgery.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I have read your query and here is my advise.

* As per my surgical experience, the armpit surgery can be secondary to
some sort of lymph node enlargement, hematoma or else after shoulder surgery
through arthroscopy.

Kindly provide me further details so that I can answer your query completely:

1. Duration since surgery.
2. Duration since the onset of armpit swelling.
3. Size, shape, consistency of the swelling, overlying skin changes, associated pain details.
4. If visible on the surface (and no objection), a photo of the swelling as
an attachment in a follow-up conversation.
5. Range of movements before and after the appearance of swelling.
6. Postural adaptation changes as a sling or else if any?

Awaiting your response...

Regards
Dr. Bhagyesh (MS consultant surgeon )
