I Have A Progressively Weak Left Side And My Leg Tumor Was On My Right Frontal Lobe What Test Can I Take Up?

Question: I have a progressively weak left side including my leg and hand. I had a large meningioma removed in 2005 and the seizures gradually disappeared( I has seizures for about a year) . The tumor was on my right frontal lobe. It had not given me any problem I've been weaker on my left side, no one knows why;physical therapy makes it worse. I'm now on a walker with my left leg "forgetting" occasionally. I had surgery in 2005 and a large meningioma was removed without incident. The rest of my symptoms - dropfoot-speech slightly slurry and stammer, occasional hard coughing followed by a deep sneeze.-- all these have come on gradually. I have reluctantly agreed to have an MRI (the "co-pay" is $350 and we are retired on a fixed income.) in order to possibly rule out multiple sclerosis.
Brief Answer:
Get back with MRI report
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Possibility of multiple sclerosis is very unlikely at this age.
Increase in weakness and stiffness may be due to recurrence of meningioma, small vessels angiopathy or stroke.
If earlier MRI is normal , then possibility of getting something new is unlikely except stroke.
Get MRI done as advised by your Neurologist.
Further investigation and medications can be decided based on imaging.
