Hi,
Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service. I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
First of all, please be informed that even when the clitoris is buried under the scar, it can be stimulated and aroused.
If you do not have the sensation then you can have reconstructive surgery. It does help improve the sensation in a large percent of women who undergo surgery.
If you have further concerns, I will be happy to answer.
Regards

Do you know where I can undergo this surgery? I need any type of information that can help me reach this goal. I%E2%80%99ve already asked Dr. Bowers in California, but she told me i%E2%80%99m not their top priority since my FGM falls under the type 1 category. Please help me find a place or a doctor to help me!

Hi,
Welcome back.
I am sorry that I cannot be of much help in this aspect. I too have heard about Dr Bowers Only.
Since the FGM is type 1 category, it should be easy to do it. You just need to consult your gynecologist. They will refer you to the appropriate surgeon.
Best wishes,
Dr Ramadevi Wani
