I Have A Question Regarding Ligation. Could It Cause Frequent

Question: I have a question regarding ligation. Could it cause frequent bowel movements for 4+ days past procedure. Also, still feels very uncomfortable
Brief Answer:
Yes, it can.
Detailed Answer:
Hi YANAMGOLB,
It is not uncommon to experience these symptoms in the first days to weeks. As long as the pain is bearable, i.e. you can manage it on over-the-counter pain medication, you are OK. Try using psyllium seeds or a macrogol for a few days to stop the frequent bowel movements.
Hope this helps.

also, it sounds strange, but after traveling for 12 days and spending the majority of these days sitting while riding the tour bus, and also after flying for 12 hours straight on the way back now feeling a lot of pain in my bottom (both sides) and it seems like it became more noticeable after the ligation, so it feels like a lot of pain and discomfort concentrated in that spot. It's been 2+ weeks since I got back from my travel. Could this pain still be related to the travel? Should I worry about this pain? it sort of feels like muscle pain from sitting, but more severe. and now, with this additional issue, it starts to worry me.
Brief Answer:
The pain is probably exacerbated by recent travel
Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
It is very likely that the pain you experience is caused by your recent ligation, and that the traveling has been strenuous and exacerbated your symptoms. I suggest you try over-the-counter painkillers and sitz baths.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have further questions.
