Brief Answer:
Contact dermatitis likely
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query and photograph.
It seems to be due to contact dermatitis, a type of allergic reaction.
Apply a mild steroid lotion e.g. Cortisone or Desonide lotion twice daily for a week and take an antihistaminic tablet such as Levocetirizine 10mg daily at night for a week.
This should help you.
Let me know if you have any doubts.
Thank you

Thank you
Did being in the hot sun playing golf have anything to do with this reaction as I did not put anything on my skin or take anything but advil. Also Desonide it seems you need a prescription for it is there a generic over the counter medicine / cream that will work or is Cortisone the strongest? Thanks again

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the follow up.
Allergy can be due to anything probably some grass or anything in the enviornment which came in contact with your body.
Cortisone is the weakest steroid but will be sufficient in your case.
Cortisone is generally available over the counter.
Advil is an anslgesic. It will not be helpful in allergy.
Take an antihistaminic tablet such as cetrizine or fexofenadine.
Let me know if you have any doubts.
Thank you.
