Brief Answer:
may be bursitis

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that it may be bursitis which is inflammation of the bursa.

Bursa are present at different joints, they are sacs that contain a small amount of fluid

If they become inflamed, then it causes swelling and a temporary mass may appear. Inflammation of the bursa is called bursitis.

It can occur from trauma or over use of the joint

An x ray can be considered to determine if there are any bony issues.

Treatment involves: (1)rest
(2)warm compress, 2 to 3 times a day for 10 to 15 mins
(3)anti inflammatory meds such as ibuprofen, naproxen, cataflam
(4)elevation to reduce swelling

Some bursa may need to be drained, if extremely large or uncomfortable or no response to treatment.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
