Question: I have a regular 28 to 30 day cycle. My current cycle is much lighter than usual I am trying to conceive. With it being lighter does this mean I haven't ovulated? I am 44 and want to conceive naturally. I dont want to see a fertility specialist or anything as I believe if it's meant to be I will conceive naturally. I just worry with my period being much lighter. I have done a pregnancy test and it is negative. I only need 1 towel a day at the moment where as usually it's about 3 a day
Brief Answer:
May be perimenopause symptom....
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your query and here is my advice.
As per your history, at this age it may be perimenopause sign. As irregular bleeding is one of the symptoms of perimenopause.
As this time urine pregnancy test is negative, so I would suggest you to consult with fertility specialist as i think at this age it will be little difficult to conceive naturally.
It would be better to go for assisted conception plans in vitro fertilization /intrauterine insemination after fertility specialist consultation.
Hope I have answered your query...
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for your help.
As per history, obesity may cause irregular menstrual periods, infertility, increased risk of miscarriage and gestational complications.
Though you are not in perimenopause but may be near to that.
So as my knowledge, I would suggest you to go for other assisted conception plans after fertility specialist consultation as your age increases there may be lesser chance of conception.
Hope I have answered your query...
