I Have A Runny Nose When I Move Or Exert

default
Posted on Sun, 10 Jan 2021
Question: I have a runny nose when I move or exert myself. When I lay down, not so much. I’ve noticed this recently. There is a direct correlation between exertion on my part and runny nose. Heart Disease runs in my family. Is this something that can be treated — this symptom of runny nose?

When I lay down, I still feel I my nose somewhat irritated as if I had a cold. However, I have no cold or influenza.

So, what should I take—medication wise. Cardura? Or something else?

Please refer to the detailed answer below

Detailed Answer:
Hello

After reviewing your query I can understand your concern for your health and I would like to tell you that Cardura is a smooth muscle relaxant commonly used in prostate enlargement patients and to reduce blood pressure, there is no need to use that.

Your symptoms appears to be either of mild allergy or seasonal. You can simply take a antihistamine like levocetrizine 5mg at bed time for 3 days. Try avoid dusty environment for a couple of days.

Kind Regards
