Question: I have a scar on my right eye and fullness in my skull and ear on the same side.
My eye doctor said it was from herpes. Is he correct and what type is would it be?

Thanks for the query.
Repeated flare ups of the herpes can affect along the distribution of one of the major nerve of your face(trigeminal nerve) and can cause symptoms as you described.
It can also cause scaring of the cornea as well.
Can you specify the duration of the scar?
It will be helpful if you attach a picture of the lesion for a bettet clinical assessment.
