No pain when urinating. No bulge. Pain has been off and on for weeks. Full pain, not sharp. Pain located by floating rib on left dude under ribs. Doesn’t radiate. Seems worse if I lay on left side and when I get my kids out of car seats. Also, anxiety seems to make it worse.
Dull pail and not constant
Brief Answer:
Most probably costochondritis.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
our history is suggestive of a condition called costochondritis.
There is an inflammation of the lower part of the ribs along with the muscles attached with it.
The pain worsens with the situations you mentioned.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Give rest to the part by avoiding any movements that increase pain.
Control of anxiety is very important.
Local application of Rubefacient liniments helps.
SOS means when needed, the anti-inflammatory with painkiller property medications under prescription of your Doctor.
Short courses of steroids orally may be needed as per the schedule for nursing Mothers.
Please get examined and get a proper prescription of our Doctor.
Take care.
All the best.
No anxiety please.
Please give feedback.
