The causes of the swollen lip and increased salivation may include oral allergy syndrome caused by certain foods, infection of oral mucosa and salivary glands, cystic acne, trauma (minor trauma after dental work), etc.

Cold pack on your lip and simple anti-inflammatory drugs (eg. Ibuprofen) may help reduce the swelling.

However, if this persists despite this, seeing your Doctor also is necessary in order to understand your condition better.
