I Have A Small, Dime-sized Red Spot On My Shoulder,

Question: I have a small, dime-sized red spot on my shoulder, more near the top of the back of my arm. I just noticed it a few days ago. It is slightly raised, does not itch or hurt at all, and I managed to get a close up shot of it. I have no other marks or symptoms of any kind. What can this be? I am 55 year old very healthy active female with no health conditions except occasional allergic asthma.
Brief Answer:
Fungal infection

Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have read your query and viewed the image.
I can see a red scaly oval patch of skin. It seems like a fungal infection. I suggest you to apply an OTC topical antifungal e.g clotrimazole 1% cream or miconazole 2% cream, twice daily for 2 weeks.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
