Question : I have a small lump which diagnosed by Dr. Asmeet XXXXXXX Sawhney as seborrhoeic keratoses in August. It grew outward from the skin quickly enough so that I could notice it was perhaps 2 or 2 mm. Then recently part of it fell or was rubbed off and I could see the area was pink from blood. Is this usu al for seborrhoeic keratoses or should I be concerned?
thanks, XXXXXXX
                            thanks, XXXXXXX
                                    Brief Answer:
Seborrhoic keratoses can grow above skin surface, can break off sometimes
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your complaint.
It is normal for a seborrhoic keratoses to grow above the skin surface and occasionally it can break off to reveal the underlying skin.
Nothing to worry about as it occurs in some individuals.
I hope to have answered your query and would be happy to answer any further queries.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
