Question: I have a small reddish bluish bump around anus, it’s sore and hurts a little when I move but otherwise no other issues. If I’m sitting or lying down it doesn’t hurt as much and warm baths and cool packs help the soreness.

Your symptoms seem to be related to external hemorrhoids.

Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in the anal area.

A physical examination is needed to confirm the diagnosis.

Some suggestions that I can give about the treatment are:

Use an over the counter hemorrhoids cream.
I recommend the Preparation H cream.
Also a 1% Hydrocortisone cream can be very helpful.

I also recommend witch XXXXXXX wipes which can be soothing.

Warm baths can also be very helpful.
