We have to confirm the diagnosis and have to rule out malignancy( cancer).
A biopsy is must.
Consult a general surgeon and get plan for a biopsy.
If it is a leukoplakia, it takes four to six weeks for complete recovery.
You can apply triamcinolone mouth paste for faster recovery.
