Question: I have a sore area on the left side of the throat and accompanying pain in my left ear. Tonight I started spitting blood and I see that the source of the blood is the sore in my throat.

Detailed Answer:
Hii. It seems that there is some sore in left side of throat which may be on tonsil or posterior pharyngeal wall. This may be follicular tonsillitis, peritonsillar abscess or any other ulcerative.Consult an ENT surgeon. Start a betadine gargle at home. You can take tablet augmentin, anti allergic tablet levocetrizine. Please send a throat swab and sent to laboratory for bacterial culture. If this is a ulceration then you may need a laryngoscopy to see the throat. Start the betadine gargle and visit an ENT surgeon. Please review if you have any queries.
